Hi.
I have read a quote from Heidegger in Persian. Now I need its original German or even the valid English translation. That quote almost reads: "Language is the nearest neigbour to human's Being."

He actually said in German:
"Die Sprache ist das Haus des Seins" which would translate
into english "The language is the house of being"

thats a great quote. without language what would be like? it would be pretty miserable. how long could you go without understanding any language? it helps you function to a large degree, you'd basically regress to being 2 years old. cuase you use language to figure out basic functions in your everyday life. it helps a lot. it is very important to our humanity.
