State legislatures is where the real power shows up. State legislatures is where gerrymandery happens. This is where most Reps and Senators come from.

1. On the (posted video) Roland stated that (75 percent) of the Republicans in (Tennessee's) state legislature
ran (un-opposed).

2. So that means each of those Republicans were (guaranteed) to be elected because the democrats
didn't even put up a candidate to run against them.

3. That reminds me of that term "You Can't Win If You Don't Play"

(Republicans) lose control in some (state legislatures).

CBS News anchor Anne-Marie Green details how (Democrats) also did better than expected
in (down-ballot races), winning back control of some (state legislatures), during this year's
midterm election.

@Real Music,
Traditionally, Democrats only voted in Presidential elections and ignored state elections. Republicans vote every election, even ones where their candidate runs runs unopposed.

Part of the reason 45 beat Clinton was no one thought 45 would win. So some decided it'd be OK to sit this one out, and some were not going to vote Clinton in protest. And 45 got a GOP House and Senate.

We did it to ourselves.
