Food Made in China

For such a big country that relies so much on international trade, China seems oblivious to how its manufactured products are perceived. There have been all sorts of recalls, from wallboard to kids' toys. I don't think I've seen anyone selling edible products from China but I won't be buying any.

What's funny is that China, a country ruled by the "Communist" Party, allows the worst aspects of capitalism to thrive there.

I have watched many videos about China and the decline of their moral values sine Mao took over. Chinese, themselves, are decrying what's going on in their country - new graduates not able to get jobs, villagers having their garden plots stolen from them, no justice... there is so much moral decrepitude - it will be their downfall. There are apparently 600 million buildings that are uninhabited and they started demolishing them (Ghost Cities) and regular people lost their investments.

Then there's the Belt and Road projects. Many have been halted due to lack of payment from the countries where they initiated these bridges, roads, and pipelines... no interest and no principal payments. Did China think they could ever pay up? Of course not. Most of it is about access to energy. China has spent 1.3 TR on these initiatives, but how many are working?
