Gargamel, I don't get it either. I've seen them in concert once already, and now that I can say I have, that's enough for me.

For some reason, this venue gets higher ticket prices than others, though. I can't think of one other place that offers $450 face value seats.

You like? You can borrow if you want.

$450 for the Stones playing at Duke? The only show I can see spending that much on would be the original Pink Floyd, or if all the original Led Zeppelin members came back to life.

I'm seriously considering running out in front of a bus for dropping what I did...hopefully I get it back.

Tori Amos is a female musician/pianist. Like Sarah McLachlan. I'm officially the only straight male who is a Tori Amos fan.

The crowd at these shows is quite amusing.

I know one other straight male that likes her. He's a computer geek. So now you have company.

I'm on record as not thinking much of her, but to each his own.

When I bought tickets from a girl earlier this year for another Tori Amos show off Craigslist, we were emailing each other back and forth.

She actually asked me in email if I was gay...because she was shocked a straight guy was buying tickets for himself.

I met her and got the tickets, she asked me to get a drink with her. Unfortunately, she looked like the rest of the train wrecks that go to these shows...rejection.

I remember the first time I saw the Stones. It was when they were just starting out. My sister and I made enough money at our lemonade stand to purchase several tickets. I think they were 1.25 apiece.

My mom made us hamburgers and packed some soda for us to take into the concert. We were so excited!

I still fondly remember that day and especially the moment my dad walked through the door from work, saw us all happy and excited, and caught in the moment, he, too, began to show signs of excitement and joy.

No Gus, ol' daddy wasn't excited at the moment...he was thrilled because he just finished dumping his secretary's body in the middle of the woods.

You see children, sometimes when a woman you're having an affair with promises she'll keep her mouth shut, she can still yap away to the girls during Bingo.

You know much more about my family history than I realized, Slappy.

Say, where do you live anyway?

What's your address?

You know, just in case I want to send you a card sometime.
