I think I am 'fraider of the dentist than the gynec. Maybe the reason why I haven't been to one in over a decade. (Still have all my teeth, just don't stand too close to me...)

Good luck with that as well, Noddy.

Heatwave--

I haven't had a cavity for years and years and the gal that cleans my teeth is absolutely charming.

One of these days when you want aggro of your own choosing you really should.....

... & then?

Very Happy

I really admire the way you're ripping through these necessary but tedious tasks, Noddy.

There is so much "maintenance" I must catch up with!

Msolga--

My mammogram has been scheduled for a year and my tooth cleaning for six months. Next week I get my every-three-month eye tests and exams.

The life of an American Senior Citizen with Good Medical Coverage is just one round of festive medical engagements.

Onward & onward with the festival of medical engagements, Noddy! Very Happy

You have inspired me to make an appointment for my (over-due, of course!) pap smear!

After that, the dentist, perhaps?

Followed by ......

Oh damn, I can't keep up with all this! Razz

You bet I did :-D Got them in last week and they're starting to come up already. Gonna have to replace a few seeds today that the critters feasted on, but all is good.

I'll take pictures when they get to be a good size ;-)

Oh yes, the dreaded test. My doc laughs when I call it that Laughing

I am way over due for the dentist, but because of the lack of funds, it'll have to wait a while.

I'm waiting for the call from my docs office saying I'm due for my pap, as it's been over a year Shocked

Yes, do send sunflower photographs, Montana! Be lovely to see them in this wretched, endless winter! Very Happy

OK, here's the deal!: You schedule your wretched test & I'll schedule mine! Then we can both complain like mad, after!

Very Happy

sorry, Olga. I'm holding out on my appointment until they start calling me about it. I ain't chasin that one Laughing

It'll be a while for the sunflowers as I just planted them last week, but they are known to grow very quickly, so hopefully they'll keep growing faster than I expected. So far, so good.

Good luck with your test, and I'm so sorry I can't join you in pap ville at the moment. I'll probebly set something up in the fall when all my work outside is done. Summer is way too short in these parts to be papping around, lol.

Msolga, dear!

Loved this thread of yours... good idea. We all need to escape from time to time.

Just the other day I escaped to a mountain for the first time! I went up to the top (1.400m) on foot... it was such a great experience... I could hear the city down there when silently up in the mountain. Also saw the sunset in a perfect cloudless blue sky. I could see everything orange and beautiful... Just great!

Hope you're doing fine, my dear australian friend.

Beijos from da brazilian chic! miss ya. Smile

Clouds. Fluffy, soothing clouds.
And I really like the idea of flight. Escape. Getting as far away as possible! Very Happy

Montana--

An ounce of prevention....

Msolga--

Appointment made?

I had a letter from the Mammogram people--there are some abnormalities and they want to do an ultrasound. Probaby the abnormality is a cyst, but I've made the appointment for next week.

Tomorrow, the dentist.

I also bought round trip air tickets for the Boston area in early October. I'll visit my son and d-i-l and perhaps there will be an A2K Gathering for Prince when he descends in all his glory.

They've called me three times now, so ....

Watching sunflowers grow strikes me as a fine, calming daily activity! Enjoy! Very Happy

There are so many A2Kers in the Boston area. PLUS the Prince! A big gathering! You'll have a wonderful time, Noddy!
