I've got a bit of Extra Admiration available this morning. Would you mind turning the compost tumbler for me?

... & you would have been oh so handy, dear Amigo, when my cat brought that big fat black mouse into my house, a short while ago. (I felt rather like fainting when it actually jumped onto my study table to get away from the cat! Shocked) I really could have done with a man around the house then! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!! I have a number of challenging (for me) family encounters during this fortnight.

To get through them I will be Ommmmmmmmmmmming like crazy, let me tell you!

But you would have been very proud of me if you saw how well I handled hurdle #1, my sister. Yesterday.
"Gosh," I thought to myself, "am I actually getting better at handling this stuff? Could it be?"

Of course you're getting better - look at all the practice you've had. Now - you may be a slow learner, but, sooner or later..... Twisted Evil

Why thank you, margo. That is very encouraging. (I think?)

But you'd have to meet em, be there & observe the goings on over years & years to fully understand the situation. Frankly I think a lot of folk would have chucked in the towel. Me, I distanced myself, A LOT! I can't totally divorce them, though. Much as I'd like to!

Good for you.

Have you ever used an exercise wheel? The little gadget that is so improving for the abs?

http://www.amazon.com/Altus-Dual-Exercise-Wheel-EA/dp/B0001A3HA4

No matter how good your intentions, you can roll out only so far--and no further--without losing control.

You've found your limit and you are honoring your limit.

Good for you.

Thank you, Noddy.
I'm afraid I've rolled out far too far in the past. But it's changed absolutely nothing. Just scrambled my brain. So, yes, I figure self preservation is the best way to go!

No I haven't tried the exercise wheel option. Yet! Laughing

But I think I've found a few promising options in my spam folder this morning:

(1) " .... a product that will help me achieve complete euphoria & much more ...."

Yes, yes! I'll have that!

(2) "Real opportunity be rich"

At last!

(3) "3 free bottles of MegDik"!

You can never have too much MegDik on hand!

So nice to these spamming folk to help out! Laughing

Dry land belly flops and the Spirit of Spam--each of us has an Individual Path to Wisdom and Serenity.

For some reason I'm reminded of "Die like a Dog" meaning an ignominious death. The dogs I've known well have all died courageously.

Hold your dominion.

I should have made it much, much clearer that "die like a dog" was a vagrant notion, unrelated to you and your woes.

Heat and humidity encourage obscurity.

And why not, Noddy?
A bit of obscurity in the heat can be good for one, for a change. Enjoy!

Thank you, Noddy. And yours too, not that you whinge about them like I have here!

Ah but this (Sunday) morning is another matter! You know when you're sort of seduced into to hurling yourself, full throttle, into the garden? I was just sitting on my back verandah very early this morning, minding my own business, drinking a cup of tea .... checking out the incredible mandarine crop & watching this beautiful, madly twittering little grey & yellow bird systematically pick bugs off my Grevillea bush. Suddenly these invisible hands dragged me into my cold, soggy garden (after overnight rain) & forced me to prune, weed, admire new growth, pick mandarines, just marvel at it all .... Hours later ( Laughing ) I finally emerged, filthy & soggy but aglow with satisfaction. Nothing like a bit of garden therapy. It's the best! Very Happy

Are you a gardener, Noddy?

Montana how does your garden grow?

My troubles may break out of the holding pen by the end of the week. Still, right now life is peaceful.

I used to be a gardener before my bones got complicated.

Enjoy the peaceful bit of the week while it lasts, Noddy ......then you can come back here at the end of the week & vent to your heart's content! (It'd be a nice change from me going on & on .... )

How damn annoying about those complicated bones!

No, not so much a career change (though that has definitely been seriously considered), more a change of focus (due to the demand & supply situation in my particular field. So I'll be doing a bit of retraining. Not such a bad thing, really. Better than continually bashing my head against the wall, any day! Very Happy

For some reason that link didn't work, Noddy. But not to worry ....
ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

And where is Montana? I want to know if those sunflowers got planted!
