When I think puttering, I think procrastinate, or a wandering. I'm picturing the man as he wanders around the house/yard, not really getting much done.

Puttering: Doing a little of this and a little of that, not necessarily finishing one project before starting another and always being willing to take a break. Puttering doesn't come with deadlines.

I'm in an exceptionally quiet period at work, and, in scrounging around for something to fill the time, decided to clear some crap from my computer.

I came across one of dlowan's digression threads from Abuzz - dating back to August 2002. I saved a number of them when Abuzz was dying. This one started out as Sphynx or Rex cats, then took a turn into Digression 25 - what is it about the ducks?

Well - so much for getting any work done - I'm having a ball. I really miss those digressions. Aa in flight; Merry Andrew at his wittiest, Pyewackett and poetry, others we haven't found again.

I've been pretty flat this week - not feeling too well - but this has really made my day! Bleeeaaaahhhh! to work!

I'm having a lousy night, so Ohmmmmmmmm.............

Oh you mean pottering! That's how we say it anyway .... Like you say buns but we say bum!
