Way too much punctuation.

James jumped on his skateboard quickly, carefully over the ravine, which impressed his friends his friends and family.

change the , to and

James jumped quickly and carefully on his skateboard over the ravine, which impressed his friends and family.

This is my pick.

James jumped quickly and carefully over the ravine, which impressed his friends and family on his skateboard.

Were his friends and family on his skateboard??

James jumped quickly, and carefully, on his skateboard, over the ravine: his friends and family? Impressed.

Too much punctuation
