How to hide a public post from a friend?

I would like to create a public post and hide it from one specific person from my friends list.

Is this possible and if so how is it done?

I appreciate your help everyone!

i think the only way to do that is to select Specific Friends...

You're right, if there is someone you don't want to see the post exclude them.

OK, so that means I can't exclude a friend from a public post but only from posts that have my friends as an audience, right?

If anyone knows a way I would still be happy to know!

Correct, if there is someone on your friends list you don't want to see the post then you would click on Friends Except and type in their name.

well the options are always avaiabale on faceboook you can send me a message to show you how its done if you still have issues with it
