Musk quoted on axios:

Quote:
"Take a big step back and F--K YOURSELF in the face. I will go to war on this issue the likes of which you cannot possibly comprehend," Musk wrote.

In a separate post, he pledged to "fight to my last drop of blood" to keep America a meritocracy.

It's been a while since I've thrown an eat-my-hat guarantee out there, but if his latest "war" is in any way distinguishable from his frequent histrionics and ridiculously stated empty threats (how's all that going "thermonuclear" working out?) well then I guess I'll be going thermonuclear on my gi tract

Elon Musk’s alleged burner account 'Adrian Dittman' exposed after using it to defend himself on X

Elon Musk faces allegations of using burner account on X with voice changer to anonymously defend his reputation.

Quote:
Elon Musk is at the center of a new controversy as social media users on X (formerly Twitter) allege that the tech billionaire used a burner account under the name "Adrian Dittman" to join discussions and defend himself. The account reportedly used a voice changer and actively participated in X Spaces, often speaking favorably about Musk and engaging in heated exchanges with critics.

BREAKING: Elon Musk, using a cheesy voice modifier on his “Adrian Ditmann” account, says MAGA “will have to ******* deal with it” because “Elon is the only one to give these ******* crackheads a voice. You ungrateful motherfuckers, seriously.”

“Get over yourselves.”

sorry I’m still processing this, you’re telling me elon was using an alt account on a twitter space with a voice changer but then got so mad he stopped using it, exposed himself, and is now banning everyone who made fun of him ?

— eden riley 🌻 (@peedenisonline) December 28, 2024

A widely shared clip claims the "Adrian Dittman" account joined a Space, where the user vocally supported Musk, calling him "the only one to give these crackheads a voice." Adding to the suspicion, past X Spaces show the account speaking about Musk in the first person, leading many to believe that Musk himself is behind the alias. Allegations also suggest Musk exposed himself during one such session after becoming frustrated, reportedly banning users who mocked the account.

Old Tesla spaces reveals Elon using his alt and talking about Elon in first person. $ADRIAN = Elon pic.twitter.com/eOUxSYBJB5
— Warrenbucketz ($bitcoin/acc) (@Warrenbucketz) December 28, 2024

While celebrities often use alt accounts to navigate social media privately, Musk’s alleged use of this account has sparked widespread debate. Many celebrities use these accounts to avoid constant scrutiny, but the accusations against Musk suggest a more self-serving purpose. Critics have called the situation "beyond pathetic," accusing Musk of self-promotion, while others mocked his apparent need to defend himself anonymously.

Musk has not responded to the accusations, but the speculation continues to dominate online discussions. This latest controversy adds to the ongoing scrutiny Musk faces regarding his public actions and interactions. Whether or not "Adrian Dittman" is truly Musk, the story highlights the unique challenges of maintaining public perception in the digital age.

This incident is yet another chapter in Musk’s complex relationship with social media, a platform where he has frequently courted both praise and criticism for his outspoken and unconventional behavior.

@hightor,
In case you missed it, people on X discovered one of Elon’s alt-accounts named Adrian Dittmann. (posted Feb 18, 2024!)

Is “Adrian Dittmann” actually Elon Musk? (posted Feb 19, 2024!)

Germany (see here) is just one of the countries in which Musk is speaking out.
The richest man in the world, who has an estimated fortune of more than 400 billion dollars, is also involved in the domestic politics of other European countries (i.e. Uk and Italy) - apparently with the aim, I fear, of creating a larger right-wing populist network in Western democracies.

@Walter Hinteler,
My personal observation is that after half a century of the wealthy/powerful increasingly unbalancing the share of wealth creation they've reached a point where they can see a backlash/revolt coming* and they are tightening the screws and deploying their resource to divide and conquer the proles (us).

@Walter Hinteler,
Following the example of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD), US billionaire Elon Musk has now also insulted German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. The X account of the Tesla boss, who is considered a close adviser to US President-elect Donald Trump, reads: ‘Steinmeier is an anti-democratic tyrant! Shame on him.’

Musk's comment refers to the post by an AfD-affiliated influencer who attacked Steinmeier after he had spoken out against outside influence during his speech on the dissolution of the Bundestag a few days ago.

The German head of state had also explicitly mentioned Platform X, on which ‘open and blatant’ external influence was being exerted.

@Walter Hinteler,
Reasonably sure that this may is not correct - my understanding of Tesla's business model is that their profit stream is and will increasingly be from subscription services (apps and firmware), emission credits, their charging network and now service and repairs (in spite of Musk's earlier claims it wouldn't).

@hightor,
I thought one argument he used 'don't lefty liberals preach loving yourself and having a burner account is a great way of expressing self love' made as much as that tosspot makes at any given time. i.e. If you love yourself why are you hiding behind a burner account? Because your actual account isn't forced down millions of throats anyway? (FTR I blocked him years ago but I still see his tweets)

Elon Musk demands Tommy Robinson be freed from prison in fresh conspiracy claims against Keir Starmer
Quote:
Tech billionaire suggests minister should be ‘in prison’ as he reignites war of words with Starmer

Elon Musk has launched another attack on Sir Keir Starmer, accusing the prime minister of failing to prosecute child grooming gangs during his time as director of public prosecutions (DPP).

In a series of posts to his social media platform X, the tech billionaire also called for safeguarding minister Jess Phillips to be jailed for rejecting calls for a public inquiry into historic child abuse in Oldham.

Mr Musk has engaged in a long-running war of words with Sir Keir’s administration, which came to a head during last summer’s far-right riots when the social media boss claimed “civil war is inevitable” in the UK.

Posting to X on Thursday, Mr Musk said: “In the UK, serious crimes such as rape require the Crown Prosecution Service’s approval for the police to charge suspects.

“Who was the head of the CPS when rape gangs were allowed to exploit young girls without facing justice? Keir Starmer, 2008 -2013.

“Who is the boss of Jess Phillips right now? Keir Stamer. The real reason she’s refusing to investigate the rape gangs is that it would obviously lead to the blaming of Keir Stamer (head of the CPS at the time).”

A number of prosecutions involving grooming gangs were taking place around the time Sir Keir took up his post as DPP.

He launched reforms into how the CPS handles child sex abuse cases, as well as saying that ethnicity or “political correctness” should not get in the way of prosecutions.

Sir Keir has also blamed the previous Conservative government for not bringing in a duty to report safeguarding issues.

Mr Musk’s comments came after GB News reported the government has formally rejected requests for a Home Office-led inquiry into historic child abuse in Oldham.

Safeguarding Minister Jess Phillips reportedly responded to two letters from the Oldham Council executive after the authority voted to request a formal public inquiry into child sexual exploitation in the borough.

As well as claiming Ms Phillips “deserves to be in prison”, Mr Musk also called for the release of far-right activist Tommy Robinson, who was jailed for 18 months for contempt of court last October.

Mr Musk, who is a close ally of Donald Trump, has also been increasingly supportive of Nigel Farage’s Reform UK in recent weeks, amid growing rumours that he is planning to donate tens of millions of pounds to the political party.

@glitterbag,
I just don't see how Trump has so much support - like can't people see what a self serving asshole he is? I wouldn't want anyone like that in my life let alone running my country. Is it some sort of cultural thing with many Americans to completely ignore their bullshit detectors? Or are these traits with cachet in American civil society?

@hingehead,
Unlike other national political figures, Trump never ran for office or served in any government. No, he was sold as a successful executive (sic)
on television. And for 30% of the country, that's good enough.

UK Right Warns Trump Allies That Musk’s Posts Have Gone Too Far

https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/resizer/v2/PWSQ7KXNTJI2BNSEQ6MXEQ4TPM.jpg?smart=true&auth=653e1cf35c9bd9837d5552320c807b9e6a8275084d9447ae0bb59e4c88bff634&width=1600&height=900
Reform UK Leader Nigel Farage.

Quote:
Senior politicians on the UK right have privately contacted Donald Trump’s allies, urging the US President-elect’s team not to endorse British far-right activist Tommy Robinson, after billionaire Tesla boss Elon Musk called for him to be released from prison.

Several prominent Brexit-supporting politicians with links to Trump spent Thursday warning their Republican counterparts against following Musk’s endorsement of Robinson, saying it was a step too far, according to people familiar with the views of both the Conservative and Reform UK parties, who requested anonymity discussing behind-the-scenes communications. They declined to publicly name the British politicians involved.

Musk — who is set to play a key role in Trump’s incoming administration — began 2025 with a volley of posts on his social media platform X stating that Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, should be freed from jail, where he is serving a sentence after pleading guilty to contempt of court last year.

The purpose of the conversations was to provide additional information to senior Republicans about why Robinson, an anti-immigration activist who has a string of criminal convictions, was not supported by more mainstream British right-wingers including the Tories and Reform UK leader Nigel Farage, the people said.

The Conservatives and Reform declined to comment.

Farage, a personal friend of Trump whose own political career has been built on an anti-immigration stance, has sought to portray himself as the acceptable face of the British right, repeatedly distancing himself from Robinson. In 2018, he quit his former party UKIP saying it had an “obsession” with supporting Robinson, who he condemned as “entirely unsuitable” for party politics.

Robinson is currently in prison after admitting breaching a court order by repeating false claims about a Syrian refugee. He has previously been convicted of a range of other offenses from mortgage fraud to assault and traveling to the US on another person’s passport.

Farage, who Musk has also repeatedly endorsed, would not benefit from being linked to Robinson, the British politicians told their US counterparts, according to the people familiar. The Reform leader in July finally secured a seat in the UK House of Commons at the eighth attempt, and has promised to mount a credible challenge at the next vote, due by mid-2029, in order to break up the historical stranglehold that Labour and the Conservatives hold as the UK’s parties of power.

The outreach by British politicians to their US counterparts was triggered by the latest foray by Musk into British politics. Since Prime Minister Keir Starmer won the UK general election last July, the close Trump adviser has regularly criticized the new Labour government, called for a new election and urged Britons to back Reform.

This week, Musk sent a string of posts about a child sex abuse scandal in British towns in which many of those convicted were of Pakistani origins, including stating that a Labour minister should be jailed over the government’s handling of the issue.

However, the talks between British right-wingers and their Republican contacts shows Musk’s posting is not just becoming a headache for Starmer.

Many on the British right were sympathetic with much of what Musk had to say about the child abuse scandal and his wider criticisms of the Labour government, but endorsing Robinson was beyond the pale, one of the people involved in the outreach effort said.
