@jespah,
Of course I get (rational) pleasure from shitting on it.

It's an irrational practice. Pig meat can't hurt you. Not if got cook it to a minimum temperature of 145° (and a federally recommended temperature of 160°, despite numerous advances in lowering trichinosis).

This rule was given to a people back when they were superstitious, prone to idolatry, and unwilling to trial and error until they figured out how to get pigs to be more sanitary. They could have asked God if there was a way to properly eat pig. Instead, they obeyed without question, long after the rest of the world introduced cleaner farming practices for pork.

Adultery is misuse of marriage. It's sensible to keep a vow that you made. It is on the other hand irrational to fixate on a farm animal.

@Yalow,
That is not a reversable. That means you fail to eat pork and you are assessed. Evading the law.

@glitterbag,
I hate to be expansive on this. It is typical and it is predicted.

@jespah,
Just think of all the health benefits you're missing.

@izzythepush,
I'd be happy if I ate lard too.

That picture's awesome.
