Ha - everyone turns against the villain. It is like bigotry. Villainotry I call it! It depends on your point of view. I remember going to Florida (yes Disney area) for a conference years ago when my kids were little. I did not visit the parks as I was there for work, but I did go to what was called at the time Disney village. I purchased a book for my youngest daughter who at the time loved Snow White.
When you turn the book over, there is another story from the Queen's point of view. This book tells the "villains" side of the story - in this case I learned that business about the 'evil' Queen giving Snow White a poisoned apple? Well, per the Queen herself, she was actually a health nut who was only concerned that her stepdaughter wasn't getting the proper nutrition!
So after that my little one learned there are always two sides to the story so when she at just under 3 met the "evil" queen herself she went right up to her not scared a bit and asked her "Can I do whatever I want?"
yep made that queen crack a smile - and then she went right back to her regal character.
So long story short - I doubt this was a good thing - you are just coming from it from a different perspective. Just ask the bonsai trees how they feel about this great man's untimely death!
