my advisor (avid birder) is being tormented by a birding guide
friend with this question: what are the 12 species of birds that
can be found on all continents (americas, europe, asia, africa,
australia) except antarctic?

so far, we've guessed: osprey, house sparrow, peregrine falcon,
and maybe european starling.

anyone have any thoughts on this?

sarge.

true, there is a KFC on every continent! Laughing

this requires Genus species answers, and there are many species of crows.

btw, there is no such thing as a "sea" gull.
