If you Google search on this subject, you will come up with reams of loonie liberal reports on how the Brits shot an unarmed and "innocent" Brazilian man. Good luck finding anything about how stupid and dangerous it is to try and apprehend terrorists whose sole mission IS TO KILL YOU while you the officer are unarmed.

Police need the right tools to do the job, and trained in how to properly use those tools. An unarmed cop, or one improperly trained in the use of his weapon, is nothing more than cannon fodder in today's world.

You seem to forget we are at war.

There were photos printed with those reports, it was on tv, I have heard such from eye witnesses, seen it myself - and the A2K'ers who joined the A2K meeting in May, too - [exactly 40 years ago, I made the first aquaitnace with a police officier, who was armed] (and will see it again): why should I doubt?
