Existential Dilemma

Hello All,

Lately a little 'existential dilemma' has taken its toll on my day-to-day life. I seem to a be a bit more depressed and contemplative of all things, but in a very pessimistic un-productive way. My dilemma was, what if evolutionism/Darwinism is correct. What if we are just an evolution of a cell - and we die, and thats it. That religion might have been created as something for man to live for - even though it was a fairy tale. Before I got myself into this predicament, I was primarily Buddhist, I went to temple and listened to Dharma lectures and put them into my everyday life. I know this viewpoint contradicts Buddhist teachings - but what if it's right? I used to think it was all crap, but now I'm having second thoughts.

This state of mind is unproductive and depressing. Any thoughts, opinions, quotes or images to get me up and running again?

Thanks A Bunch,
Josh

What if those ideas are 'right'?

Hey, even if those ideas are right, it wouldn't change the fact that you are ALIVE !

I mean this is the most caring way:
You need a smack on the ass Josh
Razz

Seriously, think of how great it is:

To wake up in the morning and take a ****. Oh so pleasurable

To be able to taste Tequila. Oh that's a fun feeling.

To play with your balls and feel all tingly. I don't know how that feels actually, since I don't have balls, but I gather guys love it.

To be lucky enough to have me respond to something i've gotten stoned over, again and again.

....Gee, I hope other people respond!......... Laughing

I agree with Frank. Some people are so concerned about "later", that they never enjoy "now".
