Do you know anyone affected by the tornadoes?

The woman who writes for me is in Tennessee. They were okay, but a tornado touched down a few blocks away (her neighbors are all right, too).

The day before, her inlaws had dropped by unannounced. So, in between trying to entertain them and all that such things entail, they spent a few hours in their safe room (the laundry room). Her and her husband, his parents, their 3 kids, and the dog.

So glad they're all okay! Isn't this an unusual time of year for tornadoes?

Yes, sadly, I think you're right. Abnormal is the new normal. We don't know what to expect anymore.

Isn't that the truth, I never thought I'd ever see a pandemic and yet here we are.

2021 hasn't been a good year for California. I'm used to the wild fires but never seen it this bad.

I wish revelette would post and tell us she and her family are safe.

I have some family in Kentucky...fortunately they are all fine and were not hit.
