What is "filter noise"...and what do those numbers mean?

the "filter noise" option allows you to only see the topics you want to see.

you have to select them... there's a way to do that, but i've forgotten how.

the problem with that is it doesn't sort topics or posts by time, which i hate.

"all topics" sorts by time.

if you ever notice topics or posts are not in chrono order, it means you have clicked "filter noise"...



the numbers are the aggregate vote tallies for each topic or post.

the thumbs are currently invisible (but they still work) -- it's a bug that appears from time to time...
