A fun but pointless game for you to play...
At this moment, I have posted in 658 different topics in A2K (excluding this one).
In 77 of those topics, my post (or the last of my several posts) has been the "threadkiller" - the last post in the thread.
Can any of you beat my score - 12% of threads killed?
BTW, I don't know if being the supreme Threadkiller is a good thing or a bad thing, but it is certainly a thing...

Damn. I just hate it when I turn out to be the last person to make a post. I mean, like, what did I do wrong?
Is there some sort of statistical analysis around here that gives you this kind of information? Please, tell me you didn't actually sit down and count.
As sad as it sounds, indeed I did Roger...
It only took a minute or two. I just clicked on "Your Posts" to get the total number of topics, then scrolled through the pages, counting where my name appeared under the "last post" column.
The devil does indeed make work for idle hands...
What I do when I have too much time on my hands as well as a free keyboard is go through the "asia" forum and add every single little comment I can think of into the threads regarding China (and there are quite a lot, I was pleasantly suprised.) At the moment I think only 2 one them have been revived again - the other's all ignored me.
But I can't be bothered to count them. I am pleased to say Grand Duke that your post in the "Whites are the Minority thread" was not a thread killer, or I would have had my revenge!
Roger - you certainly spread your posts around - 4511 different topics!
I counted your "threadkills" on the first 22 of 91 pages (84 kills) and pro-rata'd to get an estimate for the total - 344 kills. This gives an estimated threadkill score of 7.6% for you... (man, I need to get a life)
Pragmatic - give me two minutes...

I am fine GD, nothing has changed - still working like a dog - all work and no play had made me a very sad boy indeed. But looking fwd to going home next Sat and get pampered by my mom for two weeks.

Just another example of me spending my free-time wisely... Unfortunately I do have to go and make hundreds of pizzas in 2 hours time, which is putting a downer on my all-night "work"!

ROTFL! That thread title is a riot! And it's soooo comforting to know there are other "threadkillers" out there besides me, bec. I was feeling like a wet blanket.
(Off-topic somewhat: that word just by itself conjures up for me a picture of an angry seamstress; she's FYOOOOOORYUSS that some important garment turned out to be a flop, and so she's madly shredding away at the threads...)
I laughed at the thread title too. I know for a fact that I have to be a top ranker among threadkillers!
So, Grand Duke...would you be so kind to do me the honor of your calculations?
The real test will be to see who kills THIS thread.
Perhaps me, I'm really good at it.
After I read my emails and do some work I'll be back and try and count my ill effects. I think of myself as "The Stopper".
