This silly piece of political propaganda kind of shows my point.

1. There is a difficulty right now in recruiting experienced police officers.
2. Many police officers oppose vaccine mandates.
3. Florida wants more police officers.
4. They benefit economically by offering workers (i.e. police officers) the benefits that these workers want.

There is an economic cost to forcing workers to do something that they don't want to do. And empowering workers to say "No" to the demands of employers is something that unions have always done.

One.More.Time. - just because the cop has a union rep or or a union supplied lawyer doesn't that the cop isn't going to lose, or that an anti-vax clause is in their contract with the city.

I have a religious exemption for stopping at stop signs. It's in the bible - right after "thou shalt nor take Covid vax, but of all other vaxes: have thee at it."
