I've never tried speaking Welsh. They all speak English anyway.

And not all of them speak Welsh.

All roadsigns are in both languages.

There have been some mix ups. There was a news story about a parking sign. The English was fine, but the Welsn translation said something like.

I'm sorry, nobody can answer your call, please leave a message after the
beep.

In the first Flashman book by George Mcdonald Fraser, he describes the soldiers who have returned from India as having peculiar Welsh type accents.

We had a power outage late the night before last. The reason: a rescue operation in a neighbouring district, for which the most important high-voltage line had to be taken out of service. This was to minimise the danger to life and limb of the person who had climbed a pylon and the fire brigade's height rescuers. Around 150,000 households were briefly without electricity (for up to 42 minutes).

Since such a long outage has rarely ever happened here (I haven't noticed it all my life [besides on a navy ship during exercises], the local newspaper "Der Patriot" (sic!) gave it long coverage.

Clause 9 of the bill is causing particular controversy as it means six million people with dual nationality, or who were born outside the UK, could be stripped of their British citizenship without fair warning.

Heh, some Brits who thought Christian Bale is American and heard him speak with his native accent thought he was doing a bad Brit accent, not knowing he's actually Welsh.

We don't know what exactly she was doing.

It has been widely speculated that she is a high ranking intelligence officer which is why she did not face charges originally, and why the only photograph of her is from her wedding day.
