What's your go-to bagel? Plain? Poppy-seed? Cinnamon-raisin? Garlic? Salt? Everything? What do you get between the bagel slices?

@tsarstepan,
Onion or garlic most times. Occasionally pumpernickel or plain. It varies depending on my mood what gets itself placed.

Before I was advised to maybe 'cut back' on my sesame seeds consumption, few things made me happier than a freshly toasted sesame bagel with a good portion of peanut butter. The p.b. would melt down and create a delicious and messy treat.

I prefer onion bagels or plain bagels.

I'm a traditionalist. I like a bagel with lox, cream cheese, and onion. I say lox, but if there's actual lox around, I can't find it. I substitute Nova for lox.

I’m in search of decent bagels here in southwestern FL. I tried Einstein but not happy with them at all. I looked around in the past and wasn’t thrilled. Perhaps this time I can find a real tasty treat. I’ll let you all know.

For some people with diverticulosis, these seeds can be a certain type of digestive hazard (not sure if that applies to Sir Sturgis).

@tsarstepan,
You're right, I didn't think of that. I remember my MIL's neighbor was tormented by that and she avoided all small seeds. I had colitis once, I always heard it can be painful but holy crap it's miserable. Diverticulosis has to be worse.

@tsarstepan,
I was told a while back I'm a good candidate for diverticulitis and losis. Something about the little sacs of the intestines and their appearance. The risk is higher with hard seeds than with softer seeds such as those in tomatoes and cucumbers.

Then there was my aunt who sliced a banana down the center to avoid the seeds hiding in the middle.
