RESOLVED:

In Matters of Immigration Policy, Restrictions on the Rights of Non-Citizens are consistent with democratic ideals.

This is one of the LD topics that might be picked next year and as i am at debate camp i decided to research it. Seeing as how immigration is close to home, living in Texas as i do. Most of this is philosophy however what immigration policy entails as well as what democratic ideals may be called have great relevance to this topic. As well as the "rights" in question.

Again though most will be philosophical then any good phylosophys that might relate to this would be much appreciated as my knowledge of philosophers is very limited (kind of sad that I am an experienced LD debater and i know little about philosophy but o well i'd like to learn more).
