Maybe I am crazy but ....i am informed that aruba is not a very big island at all...now natalie has been missing for quite some time...what are the chances she is still on that island...really...has anyone started accepting that she may have left that island on a boat with god only knows who..and is really far from aruba now...even i hate to be so cold sounding and i apologize but maybe shark food by this time. i hope she is found soon though either way so the family can celebrate or grieve..the unkowning of the situation must be so painful.

prayers to all

I agree with you that Natalie could not be on the island. But I am concerned that no one has brought it to the forefront that this young woman was at a bar drinking with no supervision. She was only 17. Where is the reality with that situation.

Natalie Holloway
Personally, I'm shocked by just how much people in this country don't know about this case. I lived in Aruba for a couple of years while this was all happening. Aruba is a crime-free island. So consequently, they do not have CSI units, advanced police techniques, etc. The truth of the matter is that it's basically a third world country. The lack of police response was no one's fault. They just didn't have the experience or the know how to cope with an investigation. Plus, it has been documented that the family had ties to organized crime and was warne several times regarding outstanding debts. Natalie was heard on several occassions saying that she would never go back to Alabama and her Hitler of a mother. Many witnesses testified that the girl was an out of control partier with mountains of cash (which she flashed everywhere on the island.
Then there's the problem of her mother's credability. She shows up on the island less than 24 hours after Natalie's disappearance with a news crew and wanted posters reading "Kidnapped" and not missing. What the &^$( ??? Kidnapped? Where did that come from? Seems the organized crime theory could apply here considering the facts. Beth was witnessed partying in casinos, playing tennis and generally having a goodtime while half the population of the island was out searching for the daughter. The Aruban people are wonderful people who's hearts went out to Mrs. Twitty. In turn she called for a boycott which she knew would hurt them. She had a beef with the Aruban police for sure, but her misguided vengance hit the poor people of Aruba who were on her side from the beginning. The drop in tourism has hurt the "people" not the police. I'm an american, but I've seen both sides of this thing close-up and I believe there's a special place in hell for a woman who would do what she's done to over 80,000 innocent people. She has orchestrated an anti-Aruba movement in this country in an attempt to gain sympathy for what? Her efforts are NOT going to have any effect on the Aruban ploice's ability to deal with major crime.
I'm not necessarily bashing Mrs. Twitty... only the misdirected methods she's employed in an ill-adised attempt to secure some form of justice for her missing daughter. Besides, there are many experts (including some agents in this country) who believe that Natalie went volunarily with any one of the high rollers (who were there for a wolrd poker tournament) whose yacghts were parked off the beach by the hotel, and is now living in any number of counrties. I wonder... if Natalie surfaces in a couple of years alive and well... will Mrs. Twitty apologize to the people of Aruba for nearly devisating their lives due to her boycott?

I was wondering if you read what you typed after you wrote it. I was also wondering where you got your so called stories. First of all Ms. Twitty didnt arrive with posters in hand looking for Natalie. And secondly if you would have done your research you would see the flyers say "MISSING". And thirdly you dont know this family nor do you know what they do in there spare time. How dare you make all those fabricated stories up just to make Aruba look good. Bottom line, Natalie is never coming home and the persons responsible is still out there so if I were a resident in Aruba I would be very careful. These persons know how to kill and dispose of evidence where they do not get caught. If you are so in love with Aruba why did you leave?
