@snood,
Unfortunately, I have a sinking feeling that the media will continue gobbling up Trump happenings. He, his antics and cohorts have been a financial boon for all of them.
Back a few years as Trump came to announce his candidacy, the media gave him more time and attention than almost anyone else since the dawn of time (or at least since the first cave drawing).
He had been a headline stealer for decades. The top execs all knew this and knew he was manna for their bottom line.
As the nation takes in the election loss, millions are still enamored of and with him. The media will continue eating this up. Interviewing these folks. Finding out how they are "coping" and "surviving" in the world without their dithering buffoon steering the ship (mostly into the rocky waters. Deeper and deeper!).
They gave him center stage during both campaigns. Barely muttering about his past disasters. His multiple bankruptcies, affairs, racist actions... the list goes on. Other candidates had to fight through just to get a few paragraphs or seconds of air time to state their goals.
The sorry s.o.b.s passing themselves off as journalists are not anywhere near to abandonment of their golden goose! It matters not to them that the gold is not even as good as an imitated image of the real thing.
They will be clamoring for his take on President Biden's handling of the economy, the health crisis and everything else. Yes, even when and if (or if and when), Trump is put in chains and on a bus off to maximum security prison!
I would like to be more upbeat about this; yet, having watched the media devolve and dissolve for at least forty years, my faith in them is nil.
