Can Biden end up with more than 400 electoral votes?

I am dusting off my crystal ball (which seems to work pretty well every second election)...

I am wondering if Trump will give a concession speech (assuming he loses convincingly). My prediction is that we are going to see other Republican leaders concede that Trump has lost... before Trump himself concedes. It is possible that a Republican will do the right thing and be the spokesman for post-Trump GOP.

I am going to also predict that the election will be called by the AP by midnight on November 3rd.

Biden will receive at least 1000 electoral votes easily.

1. Because of what happen in 2016, I learn not to celebrate prematurely.

2. Overconfidence and complacency is the enemy.

Just to make it clear.... the only realistic way for Biden to get to 400 is to win Texas... but Texas is in reach this year.

2. I'm simply saying that because of what happened in 2016, I will knock down any discussion about a victory.

3. The best thing for the democrats is to continue having a real fear of a repeat of 2016.

4. That fear is what will ensure democrats to get off their asses and vote.

My answer to your question, Max, is that of course Biden can end up with more than 400 electoral votes. ANYTHING is possible...except that which has been established as impossible.

I hope so. I hope the election results in a blue tsunami...with no room for the morons reasonably to contest it. (Although they will contest it, no matter what.)

I would love for Biden to carry Texas, Florida, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania...along with the reliable blue states, where the sane people live and vote.

Not going to be easy...and the result could be tight as a (ya know)...or a win for Trump. If Trump does win...he will be the only human on the planet to win. Everyone else will lose.

This is my map that gets Biden to 400. This is a pretty standard map. I moved the "up for grabs" to Biden (Biden is slightly ahead in most of these states). Then I moved Texas which is "leans Republican" in most maps.

It is really all about Texas.

This is what happens when Trump wins all of the toss up states plus Pennsylvania (which is now leans blue). I find this interesting. Trump has to run the board and then some to pull out a win.

Well damn! We lost Florida. That means 400 isn't going to happen.

Things are looking pretty good for my second map... Biden is looking surprising good in Ohio (which is not expected).

I think Mi and Az are going to Trump.

Arizona is looking good for Biden right now... He is outperforming Clinton in many counties, including Maricopa.

I haven't seen anything about Michigan yet.
