No, I don't have to "pick sides". Why would I? Both sides are crazy.

The left is justifying burning down businesses and looting. The left is ruining careers and attacking (sometimes physically) anyone steps out of line. The left are attacking police... the phrase "All cops are Bastards" is trending.

The right is also justifying violence, they are supporting racist slogans and some are walking down the street with "swastikas". The right is also attacking and canceling people from Netflix to the NBA.

I want Biden to win because I support his policies. When he wins, I expect him to keep the extreme left in check. When Trump rails against the loony left... that is the best argument for his reelection.

I would like to see both political sides take heed of this.

The extreme left wing, and the extreme right wing have just lined up in their respective camp to attack each other. They don't listen, they don't try to understand other points of view.

It is just constant attacks.

America deserves better.

In my opinion, Trump's divisiveness, pitting American against American, is one of the reasons that he is a horrible president.

I hope that Biden (assuming he wins) will do a much better job at reaching out to Americans on the other side of the political chasm. Biden should reach out to Trump supporters, and listen to Trump supporters.

That is what a good president does.

I might summarize this thread too.

It is a good way to focus a discussion on valid points being made, rather than on the constant bickering and personal insults.

I think these thread summaries are a good idea. I am going to stick with them. I only post a summary when I think there is are interesting points being made (by myself and others) being lost in the usual partisan mud slinging.
