About a week ago I developed a couple infections on my knee that turned into abscess. I was keeping it fairly clean but it started spreading and became uncomfortable to walk. So I go to the E.R and the Dr numbs the area, slices it open, and uses his reverse scissor style tool to spread open the slice to pack it. I dont know how rough this procedure usually is but I think he was trigger happy, at one point I felt the tool get caught on something inside my knee and instead of backing off he squeezed harder until the tools handles snapped together and I believe that is the reason why I can't walk and I'm in excruciating pain. He mangled my knee and now I'm using crutches and it can take a few minutes before the pain subsides for me to hop on the crutches. They said I will be feeling much better today but now I can barely get around. I'm supposed to get a check up tomorrow and I don't really want to go back to that hospital. Anyways is this malpractice?
@fbmautopilot ,
It's a great question for a lawyer. Initial consultations on the plaintiff side are usually free.
Go and ask someone with knowledge who can do something about it
