From elementary to high school, I was in constant fear of the dreaded Friday the 13th. Odd how that dread turned everything into terrible self fulfilling prophesies. Now? Not anymore. I just grin and bear it when I hear others go on about Friday the 13th being such an ominous day.

The students will be extra rowdy on Friday the 13th without intentionally knowing its significance, (Like what doctors say happens at ER's nigh shifts during full mooned nights).

could be, I've never noticed it on Friday the 13th, but I do notice it with the students on a full moon. 13 is my lucky number...I'm not worried.

I would love the first snowfall to be a big one. But here in New York City, it never happens as such. Usually, the first snow barely hits a half of an inch. Sad
