So what? Why should it be a secret in the first place?

@edgarblythe,
The patent belongs to 'pirbright' (Gates foundation) and Russia/China are the epitome of terror & fear.

Goto 'Rockerfeller foundation' website PDF 060606 - You'll see why.

China & Russia are the 'agenda' scapegoats.

EVERYTHING happening Now is orchestrated.
Wait till September - Wave 2.

Or go find the 'President of Ghana, Gates Expose' link, I dropped on A2k, a few days ago -

In fact - I'll drop another in my next post.

Have a lovely Day

How is it possible that we have got our priorities so twisted...that we value the right of a company to make money over a quicker solution to how to deal successfully with the pandemic? Or is it that people want to get the credit for "finding the cure" over actually finding the cure...that is the problem?

The fact that there are people NOT sharing ALL of their research with EVERYONE else doing research on this problem...

...is a special problem in itself.

Share the research...EVERYONE.

The indignation at anyone trying to "steal" the research...without much greater indignation at the fact that it isn't being freely shared...

...IS NUTS.

@Frank Apisa,
I have shared ALL my research with you guys.
Not ONE of you have payed any attention to it, whatsoever.

So, What's the point?

I have NO agenda - I don't care whether I wake up in this world tomorrow, or Not.

Phase 2 (Sept-Oct) initiate a prolongued (6 Month lockdown) Based on 'early' release from initial (primary) lockdown, due to public 'want'.
Blame 'public' 'want' for 'secondary' lockdown.

The 'Food-shortages' will definitely sway your opinion.

Enjoy.

Have a lovely Day

@farmerman,
The more input from scientists from wherever would have to be a plus. They should pool the knowledge.

They are handling it the way capitalists handle some things that turn me off to capitalism. Fixing that is one of the tweaks that has to be made.

This is why progressive governance always leads to Venezuela.

If companies are not allowed to profit from developing a cure, how many of them will devote a ton of money to developing a cure?

If progressives had their way we'd never have any cure for any disease.

For that matter, if progressives had their way we'd still be back in the stone age.

The vaccine is ours by rights because it was funded with OUR tax dollars.

What you are asking is for people (scientists and researchers and nurses and lab workers) to do the work for free?

Anyone here who gets paid for doing work should shut up. If people do work, they get paid. That only makes sense.

Yep. And if it works out that way, they might not be quite so eager to go through all that the next time.

I do hope that whoever succeeds does not extract the maximum from a frightened population.

They are working for the government and likely drawing much greater salaries than many Americans.

@oralloy,
Venezuela is ruled by a populist despot who panders to Putin's Russia. It has nothing to do with progressivism.

@goldberg,
That is incorrect. Venezuela is an example of progressivism gaining total power over a country. It shows what progressives would do everywhere if they were given the opportunity.

Not the actual government employees, but if they are private contractors working on government contracts.....they make 2 or 3 times more money than our government scientists. By the time of 9/11 ...and also the fact that about one-third of the federal intelligence analysts had been cut out, offered early retirements, gently showed to the door because everybody seemed to think the Cold War was Over........The intelligence community was desperate for the old talent...........Then many of the retired senior executives started their own companies, hired back other retired analysts, mathematicians, linguists and other skilled specialists and started making money hand over fist.

I always stuck with the Feds because even though the private contractors offered a lot more money, they would flourish or perish after every budget cycle if they were under bid by another company. Plus there is a lot to be said for continuity...the private contractors were a little out of the loop and didn't always properly match jobs with appropriately skilled people. It's hard to replace someone with 30 years experience with a fresh new hire who has never worked the target.

@glitterbag,
Regardless how it channels it is still our tax money footing the bill.
