Hi.
I am trying to locate the source of this quotation. I heard it somewhere around 25 years ago and now I need to reference it - but, am having a really hard time tracking down who said it.
The closest I have come is from "Back to the Future II" in the school cafeteria scene - but, I need an original source.
Please help.

I suspect you're not remembering the quote correctly. It probably doesn't have the word
likely in it (semi-pithy statements like that tend to not have adverbs). Closest I could find was here:
