It seems the international community adamantly opposed unilateral action by the US aganst Iraq, but insists that the we should treat North Korea solely as our own problem. Can anyone explain the difference?
I had not heard that. Got a link?
I agree, nelsonn. That seems to be the paradigm, and no, I can't explain it.
It does? Where is this said? I would have thought that Oz, for one, would consider this directly impinges on our national security. We were there last time. (We come to most American wars - come to think of it, we go to most wars, we must be nuts, but I digress)
COULD IT BE THAT THERE IS NO OIL IN NORTH
KOREA? OR THAT SINCE NORTH KOREA WAS
TAKEN UP AS "OUR PROBLEM" YEARS AGO, IT
IS SIMPLY THE STATUS QUO? OR MAYBE THAT
NORTH KOREA HAS STRICTLY COMPLIED WITH
ALL REQUESTS TO DISARM? MAYBE NORTH
KOREA IS NEVER GOING TO CAUSE ANY MORE
TROUBLE TO ANYBODY, LEAST OF ALL TO THE
US. GEE, AIN'T LIFE GRAND? hehehehehe
