When people die, the saying is that God take the best to join him up in the heavens and if u believe in reincarnation, he sends u back down again to give you another chance to be with him.
So that means, if u r on earth, u r a sinner among sinners.
Why do people die then? If they are to be sent back down again?
Would a merciful God put his followers through so much pain by losing a loved one? People say He is testing u, but its more like torture.
Would love to have some opinions on this.
People who believe in reincarnation do not usually believe in God.
If there is a God who created the defective minds and bodies, diseases and disasters that cause so much pain and suffering on earth, he is certainly not merciful.
If he is omniscient, it is not necessary for him to test us.
It would be unethical for a loving God with the power to alleviate unnecessary suffering to fail to do so. Therefore God must be impotent, sadistic, or non-existent.
how do you know that earth isn't heaven?

I dont think so.
I have a belief in reincarnation. I think heaven and hell both exist on this planet so we get to experience both. If there is really a heaven out there I believe we don't actually go to heaven until we learn to value life. Hell could be for someone who does not value his/her life all.
