I hope the sound is good, it's a little lacking on the IPad.

Back on My Feet Again.....Randy Newman

https://youtu.be/iEdR--NNDco

(I think we found Randy Newman in the late 70's, we bought a little cassette and played it driving home from maybe Myrtle Beach or Raleigh, just the three of us, He makes me sooo happy, his music is raw and humorous (just the lyrics not the melody)..our son plays Newmans music for our granddaughter. ..she knows all the lines from 'Pants'. I hope thats a good thing.

Edgar, My Dad brought that album home when I was very young....he must have loved Belafonte because we didn't have much money for extras. It brings back so many memories for me, I have his original album and later bought it as a CD....my parents loved music, and Matilda (live from Carnegie Hall) is a special treat......."Women over 40, was a belly laugh in 1959 or 60".. I also like 'Man Smart, Woman Smarter', it's just pure entertainment....Thank you for posting that album.

@glitterbag,
Can't believe I forgot that one!

Style Council (Paul Weller's band after the Jam)'s best-known song in the US is the poppy My Ever-Changing Moods. But a lot of their stuff is fiercely political.

@jespah,
I saw them at Glastonbury in 84, they didn't go down too well. Tracie got booed and Paul Weller ended up shouting at the crowd.

I think people were still pissed off about the breakup of The Jam.

I bought all of Belafonte's albums from the first through the late 60s, then a couple of later ones. The very last in my collection is one of my favorites: Paradise in Gazankulu.
