How do we get Hillary Clinton to Shut the f*** up?

Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump. Let me rephrase that. She lost....... to Donald J. Trump. Her approval ratings were low in 2016, in fact they were lower than Bernie Sanders then. They are even lower now.

Why does she feel the need to **** with the Democratic primary race now?

@maxdancona,
The same could be said of you, How do we get Max to Shut the f*** up?

You're damaging the Democrat party in your own way.

@izzythepush,
Clinton knows all the candidates personally. I for one am interested in her opinion of them. She has been in politics for 28 years and has much accurate knowledge to impart unlike the republicans on this site. And if one investigates Bernie's history as a senator they will find he is not well liked by most of the politicians because of his Trump like personality.

@RABEL222,
She lost an election to Donald Trump... something that no one else has ever done. She made the election all about her (rather than about the country). She refuses to take any responsibility for how she lost the election.

And now she is making childish attacks on her previous rival in a primary that no one wants her involved in?

If Hillary shot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue, I am guessing you still wouldn't lose your support, would she.

@maxdancona,
All the other Republican candidates lost to Trump. That's how he got the Republican ticket, he didn't run unopposed.

Izzy has a point. But on the other hand, I wish Ted Cruz would shut the f*** up too.

@maxdancona,
Max you and lash got your fondest wish. A republiczn president. We will be suffering the results for the next 20 years. I hope you both live the whole 20 years. Clinton was a good politician who suffered the attacks of republicans for 40 years. The constant attacks finally convinced a brain washed populace she was even more crooked than Trump even though a Trump FBI's investigation for those 40 years cleared her of any wrongdoing. Do you think Trump and his crooked kids and government can stand that much investigation?

@RABEL222,
I didn't wish for a Republican president any more than you did. I voted for Hillary (although holding my nose). If she was a "good politician" she would have created a winning coalition that would have brought the country together. Obama was a good politician.

Hillary Clinton divided people. She insulted people. She ran a self-centered campaign based on how "qualified she was". Her slogan was "I am with her". I was forced to choose between Trump and Hillary. I chose Hillary. I was not happy about that. But, I bucked up, I stood in line, I cast my ballot for Clinton and did what I had to do. The fact that she fucked it up anyway hurts that much more.

I get it. It was everyone's fault except Hillary's. She was ******* perfect.... the most qualified ******* candidate in the history of democracy. It was sexism. It was Republicans. Blah Blah Blah.

She lost to a fascist human cheeto. Now... would she just go away and let someone else do the job that she failed to do?

Sorry. I thought it was a rhetorical question... but I will answer it for you since you insist. No, Trump and his crooked kids and government can no "stand that much investigation"?

Trump is just as much of a whiny bitch as Hillary Clinton is (after her 40 years of suffering whatever made her that way). I shouldn't have to explain this, I am being sarcastic... but my sarcasm raises an interesting question.

Clinton/Trump is being persecuted for their gender. Clinton/Trump is unfairly treated. Clinton/Trump is being prosecuted for crimes for purely political reasons. Clinton/Trump is extremely qualified and has done nothing wrong.

Is there anything that Trump supporters say about Trump that Hillary supporters don't say about Hillary?

For what it is worth, Trump finally leaves the scene, I will want him to shut the f*** up too.

I was forced once to choose between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. For the record, I chose Hillary.

Fortunately it is highly unlikely I will ever have to make that choice again. They are both arrogant asses.

Democracy is about people not shutting up and the open discussion generating useful ideas that garner widespread consensus.

@livinglava,
This is a thread which from the very title is about telling Hillary to shut the f*** up. You are OK with this until I mention Trump.

That's awfully hypocritical Lava.

I didn't even notice the thread until I read through the whole thing before posting.

To be specific, though, I have no problem with Hillary Clinton or anyone voicing their thoughts as part of civil democratic discourse.

What bothers me is when people use their free speech to ridicule or otherwise negatively impact the potential for collaborative self-governance.

Ridicule is free speech.

Stating your reasons for thinking something are important. Ridiculing others or drowning them out with noise is anti-speech speech.

You can call it 'free speech,' but don't deny that it is done with the goal of censoring others' free speech.

That is a humorous way to prove my point.

Maybe the problem is that you don't understand what the word "censor" means.

I explained what I meant. Ridiculing people to get them to shut up doesn't honor the spirit of free speech in support of civil democratic discourse.

Free speech is meant to be honored and respected. You don't have to agree but you should listen and give fair consideration.

If you are biased toward shutting people up without understanding their perspective, you are just anti-democracy and anti-free speech.

You can say this all you want. You are still wrong. Ridicule is free speech. Democratic Discourse isn't often civil.

Ridiculing me doesn't get me to shut up... does it you?

It is discouraging and disparaging, yes. It's a departure from the spirit of liberty and democracy:
Quote:

The spirit of liberty is the spirit which is not too sure that it is right; the spirit of liberty is the spirit which seeks to understand the mind of other men and women; the spirit of liberty is the spirit which weighs their interests alongside its own without bias; the spirit of liberty remembers that not even a sparrow falls to earth unheeded
