Doing anything special for Christmas 2019?

Just taking it as another day of life. Another day on the calendar which I have been allowed to exist.

Thank you. I kind of feel that way also.

I might watch a Christmas Day Parade on TV, if I am interested. I am probably not going to watch if it's anything like the Thanksgiving Day Parades I watched part of earlier this year.

I don't get all worked up if I don't get any Christmas gifts from anyone.

Celebrating holidays is not that important to me anymore.

Christmas Day is over for me. I spent the day with my kids and grandchildren and now I'm exhausted and in bed.
Usually they all come to my place but I'm in the process of moving house so I visited them this year. It's been a long but enjoyable day.

Days just starting for us.. Itll be family and visiting after noon.

We have a moderate drive to undertake.

Currently have my feet up and drinking iced coffee in a hotel suite. We gave our girls a flight to Florida to spend Christmas with some family. My husband could not get the time off so we stayed behind ... decided we did not want to spend the Christmas at home without the kids we went an hours drive, went to a nice dinner last night and are just relaxing.

First time in over 15 years that we have not hosted and made dinner for a dozen or more people. My mom was not happy about that ... but we host all the major holidays for my family and some do not contribute (which is fine) but worse they do not even thank us.

So yeah maybe a little selfish but it is nice to just be lazy .... I do miss the kids talked to them this morning and it sounds like they are having a great time.
