Im looking at gaining some knowledge in the hope of finding contacts or manufactures of solar lights in china,i guess thats the cheapest place to source them? although saying that i have found some excellent specs and products in the states but they are just so expensive,my guess is there probably importing themselves.
now the hard part is where do i start? what do i need to be aware of?
freight?tarriffs, hidden costs. Im a flight attendant so travel is basically free
so if i go over where are the best places to go? Is there books or sites that can bring me up to speed a little,im very raw if you havent already guessed
Is china the best place to import? the language is one issue, honesty and meeting standards another.
but finding contacts seems very difficult
any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks
steve

Hey,Steve,

This is an old post. But it seems nobody replies it. Probably you already got your answers....... There are a lot of messages about this on this site: Some people say they start from alibaba.com. You can find many suppliers there. Actually just after I noticed this information, I help my friend to post his company's products on alibaba. Very Happy .......Language, it's not a real problem. A lot of people know English,at least make you understand--most chinese people were taught English when they were twelve years old.......The important thing I guess you need to find a credible guy there, make a friend with him and let him check the company and products you want.

Hi, How do you do, Steve, I am a Chinese. May I do something for you? From your words, I know that you wanna buy something in China, however, I don't know what solar lights are specifically.
