As I went across the bridge, I met a man with a load of wood which was neither straight nor crooked. What kind of wood was it?

ok, im just taking a wild guess...

the third one: they could have been in a dry lake...lots of dried up lakes are still called lakes! lol that answer is wrong tho, im sure!

the last one: Mt. Everest was still the tallest...no one just ever knew about it...yea, thats wrong too!

yes they were all married, value is 100, mt everest was still the biggest, o-n-e w-o-r-d is correct, wrong is the correct ans so the only one left is no1

By working backwards, the answer becomes easier.
Nine-tenths of a thousand is nine hundred and eight-ninths of nine hundred is eight hundred etc., all the way down to the final answer of one hundred.
