As I went across the bridge, I met a man with a load of wood which was neither straight nor crooked. What kind of wood was it?

Hi Pavishga, welcome to the forum. I nearly missed this one. In future, it may well be better if you start a new thread. Good first post, keep it up.
By working backwards, the answer becomes easier.
Nine-tenths of a thousand is nine hundred and eight-ninths of nine hundred is eight hundred etc., all the way down to the final answer of one hundred.
