No! Trump is cruel, prideful, lustful, vulgar, dishonest, violent and impulsive. I don't understand how anyone who claims to be a Christian could possibly support Trump.

This is a thread about preaching the Gospel. Jesus in the Bible about as far from Trump as you could get... Jesus was very clear that mistreating immigrants is a way to get thrown into Hell.

Read Matthew 25.

The gospel of Jesus is about as far from Trump as you can possibly get.

In your world, immigration workers are also haters. There are laws in our country. Do you agree? I did not write the laws. Yes? You have house rules where you live. Yes? Can I walk into your house and demand that rules be changed just for me? No, right? Walking into your house WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION lands me in jail. Right??? How is a country any different? ANSWER: IT IS NOT DIFFERENT.

Jesus taught more about HELL than He did HEAVEN. So, is Jesus a bad guy? No! Jesus loves us enough to reveal the truth. This is what I do. This is what I expect those who love me to do.

QUESTIONS:

1. ARE IMMIGRATION WORKERS HATERS OF ILLEGAL ALIENS? NOTICE THE WORD ILLEGAL.
I AM AN IMMIGRANT MYSELF BUT MY FAMILY CAME HERE LEGALLY NOT JUMPING OVER A WALL.

2. IS JESUS A BAD GUY FOR WARNING ABOUT THE REALITY OF HELL OR ETERNITY WITHOUT GOD?

The answer is that I treat people entering my house with compassion. Whatever I do to them, I am doing to Jesus himself.

I just realized that there is a story about people breaking into a house with Jesus.

I doubt that you are going to heaven. You certainly aren't showing any of the fruits of the spirit. (Jesus said that we will know Christians by their fruit).

Since you have gotten here you have been hateful, angry, cruel and bitter. I haven't seen a single thread with love, compassion, forgiveness or peace. Jesus will say "Away from me... whatever you have done to illegal immigrants, the same you have done to me.".

Jesus was killed because he broke the law to help people. He showed compassion and mercy first.

I don't think Jesus wants you representing him.

I am originally from the Dominican Republic. My family came here LEGALLY, MEANING WITH GREEN CARDS, granted by immigration in 1973 not jumping over a wall. Can't you see the obvious distinction between coming here legally versus illegally? I have no issue with people coming here LEGALLY....

I am pretty sure that at least one of my great grandparents (and probably two) came illegally. When we were tracing my family tree, we see them in Canada, then somehow they ended up in upstate New York. There is no record of them trying to come legally. People from Italy were being blocked with quotas and Jews weren't welcome... two strikes).

Now they would be consideres White.

Now I am as American as you. So what.

Are you a history buff? Read what happened to Rome. There are incredible similarities between the Fall of the Roman Empire and what's happening across the USA today. When Trump leaves office and, God forbid, a member of your family is raped or killed by some illegal alien, do not cry to anyone or look for pity.

Book by Cullen Murphy

Also read Invasion by Michelle Milkan.

The latter book is, of course, by Michelle Malkin. She's an English major and a right wing fabulist. Not someone you'll find on any university history of Classical Rome curriculum.

The first choice looks far better. I have not read it but just did some reading on it. Could you tell us why you liked this book? That's question one.

Reading the NYT book review on it, I see the following:
