This rug was purchased at an auction about 12 years ago. I'm trying to figure out what type of rug it is and what its potential value is. Any help would be much appreciated.
I think it is an Indo Persian and I think it is artificial silk on a cotton foundation. These kind of pieces are generally per square meter in wholesale and I think in a shop it would be around $900 a square meter.
