The Archdiocese of Boston locked out elementary and preschool students two days before the end of classes and canceled graduation in hopes of avoiding the occupation of the building by a group intent on saving it from closing. Parents received a call from a representative of the archdiocese at 9 p.m. Wednesday, telling them the school had been closed and that their belongings would be returned to them.
One city councilor and a graduate of school stated, "Not only is it despicable and evil to lock children out before their graduation, but it's a public relations nightmare."
How compassionate is that?
