Husker we had a rotty that had a tumor growing across her throat. We had to go day by day. If we removed it, she might make it another 6 months but to do that they would have taken part of her facial bones. We decided not to do it because it only gave her such a short time and so much pain to deal with in the short term. She finally go to the point where wet food no longer went down and we decided it was best to let her go peacefully and not endure the feeding tube etc. I think it is all about quality of life and only you and your family can determine that. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
In that case, I hope the Feldene works well and you guys get several more good months with dear Banjo.
Hugs from me, too, husker.
Give Banjo a rub above the eyes for me, Husker.
I'd ask ya to give Banjo a sniff on behalf of Bailey and Cleo, but that might be asking a bit much.

You could always bark on behalf of Bailey and Cleo....
We we just took an 1/2 hour lunch break and laid on top of the picnic table together basking in the warm sun. Right now he's under my feet at my computer table in the lower level family room(my cave).

For right now, everything is right in the world. These are the moments we live for, right?
I dunno if everything is right but more than normal for the moment in our time and space
Someone ought to check out these cancer facts
toxins = bad for people and pets
Aw, Banjo sure does look like a sweetheart!
that little kitten is a pretty cool cat also - very good to us humans - like to paw our cheeks and groom our hair if we let her, I think we got her from her mommy a little early, she was the runt.
that sofa is the only place we let the cat go since I'm allergic.
It's very kind of you to let the cat be there at all. Good on ya, Husker.
Husker, my heart goes out to you and your family and to poor Banjo! I know I'd just DIE if something happened to my baby! Wishin' you lots of comfort these days!
He's still doing very good - well in our eyes.
Husker.... you just love that dog and take care of her in her old age as best as you can. Your family already has a lot on it's plate, but doggie companions deserve our gratitude.
I am very sorry to hear of Banjo's misfortune, and my heart goes out to you, as pets become like ones children.....
thank you, and yes they do.
I'm reminded by a close friend that part of the reason our pets are so unconditionally loving is that they live and love in the moment
