As for me, I was a mere strip of a lad during the Boer War in South Africa, when I was captured and strung up by the Mbolo's.
A particularly painful experience which stopped me from riding a horse for two weeks.
Quite a few years have passed, but I pride myself on still having the brain of Einstein and the <ahem> of a Donkey.
Or is it the other way round?
