Since Halimi's OpEd in the Monde Diplo August issue, there's been quite a few articles published in US media that supported Arnautoff's work. Also, the decision to destroy his murals was changed to the option of covering them up with panels... Still absurd of course, but less disgusting an option than destroying a work of art.

One of the great spin-offs from this controversy is that the murals themselves are now visible online.
