Hi. I have been using this site for a while, but I only just noticed the time marked next my posts is WRONG.
It is EST where I live, but none of the times listed next to my posts or anyone else's indicate this.
As of the time of the making of this post, it's going to be 3:40 AM EST Tuesday 7/2/19, but I know the time marked next to it is going to show up wrong afterwards.
I assume this can be fixed by making adjustments to the settings in my profile. How do I fix this?
Please help- thank you.
I was correct. My initial post was postmarked 7:40 PM- I don't even know what time zone that is in.

go to My Preferences at the bottom of the page.
the time zone offset depends on where you are posting from.
i live on the east coast, so mine is set for GMT - 4 hours...

don't remember how i figured it out... there might have been a thread or a blog.
- 4 hours is for daylight savings... i believe it has to be changed to -5 hours for standard time...
