Centering a post?

Reply Thu 19 May, 2005 02:04 am
I hope this is the right place to post this.

I like to center most of my poems. What is the code to center a post?

Thank you,

AE

Dunno if it's possible w/this software. But I, too, am interested in any forthcoming answer.

Many of my poems look better centered, and some need to be, because of the form of the poem.

Can you cut&paste when you copy?

Code:

You will have to do it manually
like this
just kind of eyeball it
but it should work.

btw forgot to explain how -- put (code), but with square brackets instead of round ones, in front of what you write, and (/code), also with square brackets instead of round ones, and the end.

I have tried cut and paste in other forums, but once entered it all moves to the left. I even tried what sozobe suggested for centering, and it did not work.

I hope it wont move to the left after entering the text. I will try it. Do I have to press the code or script button too?

Thank you so much sozobe.

Here, I'll show you with BBCode disabled:

Code:
You can go ahead
and quote this post and
see what it looks
like
When you post the quote
And then
use the same method
yourself
(I'll keep explaining
until you get it)
:-)

Thanks again sozobe

(of course, you'll be stuck with the green text on a black field, which i don't think is adjustable...)

Oh really Region? That color combination will not coordinate well with all my poetry, oh dear. *giggles*

It is adjustable sozobe? If not, oh well, thank you anyway.

Not adjustable.

What you could probably do if you really wanted to would be to open a Paint program or equivalent, type your poetry however you wanted to, save as an image, upload the image somewhere, and then post the image here.

Wouldn't be complicated at all. Shocked :-)
