Shouldn't have lasted longer 30 mins (that's the time for local trains  ).
This is the world clock at Alexanderplatz, only about one block away from the TV tower.
This is looking west towards Brandenburger Tor (gate). The buildings across the river (closer to the tower) are some of the museums that I visited.
BTW, the train station located just to the right of that tall building with the dark center is Friedrichstr, the one I used most often during my stay in Berlin.
This is the reason I lug around two cameras. This one was taken with the 10X zoom of Brandenburger Tor.
Another view of the TV tower and clock.
Walter, I know the ride was short, but didn't realize it was 'that' short.
Sony Center at Potsdamerplatz.
Film Museum at Sony Center.
Damn tourists always taking pictures.
Checkpoint Charlie Museum.
Great!! Thanks.................
I'll be going back through for a longer look later.
Looks like Botero has gone into sculpture...
CI, thanks, I enjoy these. Yes, liked the photo with the bicycles underlining the picture. Liked the Sony plaza one..
and the street scene with the sculpture, and the train station.
Hmmm, maybe I'll drag up my Empoli train station photo, that's a favorite of my own. I will if I still have the scan.
Empoli stazione from the train....
A tangent - but, hey, I love stations and airports. And, by the way, the train interior was very inviting...
Thanks, c.i., really a "great show"!!!
