And I am only in the learning stage. A fellow at the nature reserve for the Rio Grande in Abq showed me around for a while as I had mumbled latin at him and he then took me seriously... anyway, I started to get the diff between the rio grande cottonwoods and others and then he had to haul ass for actual customers. The latin is not because I am any snob but that some plants have many common names, so we start with the latin.

I am in between - I know a lot and I know nothing. Keeps me on my toes and interested.

I am pretty pleased that I know more than I worried I did, though less than useful. Wait a few months and I'll stream latin at you...
