Can you request that a thread be deleted?

Hi. I haven't been here in a long time. I only just came back to this site after a long hiatus. I forget how things work here.

Can you request that a thread be deleted?

How does that work? Should I PM a mod about that?

for example, and realized I botched it up. It had been posted after a while, and when I realized I botched it up, it was too late for me to delete it on my own. I would like to request that it be deleted.
