I eventually log in and then it keeps kicking me out

It takes me several attempts to log in and then when I do something such as check new posts, check at a glance or try to post I find I'm logged out again and then it takes me several attempts to log in in. Then it happens again. It is quite regular. I've checked all my browser settings and they look okay. It's probably my fault but any help would be appreciated.

It's been happening for me for the last week or so. I'd already made all the adjustments suggested in the thread linked by mac11. I thought it was a server load issue again.

It just happened.

I was reading a thread. Hit new posts, and there were 5 instead of the full page that had been there a few minutes earlier.

Seems to happen randomly - can go a few days with no events and then a bunch in a row.

I have just figured the site has problems plus maintenance going on. We've had relatively clear sailing for a while now and I know the load is piling on. I still think of us all as lucky fools to have the site.

Thanks for that mac - I had a look through and I think it's not me but the site (I am totally unable to accept personal responsibility Very Happy ). Anyway since it appears to be afflicting others I will just put up with it until it is sorted out.

I had to re-log in four times in order to paste this Crying or Very sad

It's been happening every now and then for the last couple of days.

Last one was about 4 minutes ago.

Still happening. I think I had to re-log in about six or seven times in a few minutes. Very frustrating. It happens on several computers I use with various browsers.

That's it ossobuco! It's an automatic check on me going over the top Very Happy
By the time I log back in again I re-think my initial ill-considered response and take time to post something that makes a bit more sense (sometimes) Shocked

Ah, I am an editor after the post myself. And after that post, and so on.

I should just be a more patient person.

Smile..

In the last few days it's started doing it again. Frustrating to log in and then have to log in again when I click on a link eg New Posts, At a Glance, etc.

If I didn't enjoy A2K so much I wouldn't bother to mention it.
