Yesterday my mayordomo stopped me as I was backing down the driveway at my "finca" to show me a bright blue wasp dragging a large tarantula it had killed to it's den. The day before when we were collecting firewood he picked up a small scorpion by it's tail and tossed it aside however he moved the wasp and it's prey VERY gingerly with a long stick when I asked him to move them so as not to be crushed by my tire. That thing must pack a whallop!

Spider isn't dead, of course, just paralyzed. It has to be alive so it doesn't spoil before the wasp larva developes and eats its way to the outer world.
